Dad just had a short walk in the ICU building. He got up out of his chair and had an approximate 10 foot walk with the balance of a wheelchair. So he’s getting stronger. He’ll probably nap a lot today and continue to do tests with the nurses. He’s done two breathing tests this morning and those went well.

Wow..sounds like he is doing very well and happy to hear it. We thought we would wait until Sunday to come see him as I know from my own surgeries that the first 4 or 5 days rest is very important and it is hard to visit as you get so worn out. Glad you are all there and I know Tim went too so I am keeping updated from all angles.
Yes, this is just like him to have a blog like this and what a perfect way to let people know what is going on without having them wonder and have to try to call all over..it was a GREAT idea and I love all your posts Adam and Lauren..it is nice to keep up..let him know too we are handling his work just fine and no mistakes as of yet…LOL
Hugs and Prayers to you all
